As a state government body associated with globally recognised motor sports brands, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) had a big responsibility in upholding their reputation and protecting it from cyber security threats. Most of the year, AGPC operates with a small team, however during their flagship event like the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, the number of internal staff double and many contractors are also engaged.
